A compute cloud that owns none of the compute
ROBO Labs builds and operates the network. It does not build data centers.
We started from an observation that has only become more true: the hardware capable of running modern models is not especially scarce, but it is badly distributed and mostly idle. Studios, universities and regional data centers hold enormous amounts of it, and none of them are in the business of reselling capacity.
ROBO is the layer that makes that hardware behave like one machine — scheduling, placement, storage, execution proofs and settlement — so that attaching a rack is an afternoon’s work and running a job on somebody else’s rack is something you can reason about.
What we hold to
- We do not own the hardware
- Every accelerator on the network belongs to somebody else. That is a constraint, not a slogan — it shapes scheduling, pricing and what we can honestly promise about the tail.
- The market sets the price
- Capacity clears continuously rather than sitting in a rate card. Cheaper on average, noisier in the moment, and every instrument we sell exists to let you decide how much of that noise you want.
- Subsidy is published and ends
- We paid operators to show up early. That is down from 34% of operator revenue to 8%, on a public schedule, to zero. Judge us on the unsubsidised number.
- We say what does not work here
- Hard real-time tails, strict single-tenancy, stateful databases, and training that cannot checkpoint are all bad fits. Telling you early is cheaper for both of us than a migration.

ROBO is a fictional company. Every figure, quote, agent and benchmark on this site is illustrative and was invented for this design exercise.
It exists to exercise a design system — a full-bleed accent grid, hairline rules, mono labelling, procedurally generated artwork and a set of chart primitives — across a complete multi-page site rather than a single screen.
